Pinkcity Rickshaw Tour

Tour Details :-
Jaipur is a city of many colors and contrasts. It is best explored at a leisurely pace, as there is so much to see and do that a usual sightseeing tour by car/taxi or bus can never do justice to Sawai Jai Singh's planned city built in AD 1727. He designed a city so perfect, so beautiful, the likes of which can't be found the world over. Not a single aspect of designing has been overlooked here, from the uniformity of the shops to the length and breath of the streets. Houses were placed strategically so that the hot summer sun was blocked out, yet they received adequate sunlight and air.
For the first- time visitor, Jaipur is definitely a feast for the eyes because life in the walled city has the flavor and ambience of old times. Despite having grown into a bustling metropolis, the ancient heart of this planned city still beats in its gali-mohallas rather than the beautiful palaces. Along the route of the rickshaw ride, you will find many warm and friendly people who will happily welcome you into their homes/mansion.
These rickshaw tours have been planned in a way that they allow you to get a glimpse into the enchanting city and its charmingly chaotic life but they are by no means comprehensive. Every lane in the walled city has something interesting to offer and these Walk take you into some of the most beautiful areas of this heritage city which don't remain the part of regular sightseeing tour. In the nutshell, you will discover the hidden gems of the pink city by these rickshaw tours. Moreover, you have an opportunity of close interaction with people belonging to different artisan communities like Manihars(Lac bangle makers), Marble sculpture makers, Thatheras (metal utensil makers), Neelgars(Tie and Dye community), Pannigars (silver and gold foil makers), Meenakari and Kundan workers(Gold enamellers) etc.
These rickshaw tours also give a fascinating insight into Jaipur's various faiths which have influenced its religious as well as social life for centuries. Temples of Anant Dev there are only two Anant Dev temples in India, one in Jaipur the other one in Chennai), Sanghi Jhuta Ram Jain temple & Govind Deo Ji Temple (with beautiful work of frescos and meenakari), Sita-Ram Ji temple (with beautiful wall sculptures), Chaturbhuj temple (with beautiful wall paintings), Balanand Ji Ka Math(The only temple in India belonginig to Vaishnav Naga Ascetics) and Gopinath Temple (This temple showcases the finest example of Bhakti tradition in Jaipur) are some of the important temples covered in these rickshaw tours.
These rickshaw tours are also a great way to explore Jaipur's architecture. When you ride inside these areas, you see an amazing variety of historic landmarks and buildings. Each building tells a fascinating story, about the men who built it, and the historic events associated with it. Pandit Shivdeen Ji ki Haveli, Nanak Ram patel ki haveli, Diwan Shivdas ki haveli, Rajasthan School of Arts, Nataniyon ki Haveli, Arogya Bharti, Kala Bhawan Sankari Gali, Saleem Manzil, Kothari Bhawan and Kotawala Bhawan are some of the prominent sites and buildings covered in these rickshaw tours.
